To celebrate all the mother figures in our lives who have shaped us into the cooks we are today, I'm offering a 'book a space, get another free' deal for this class! If you book a ticket, you'll automatically be assigned a free spot for the person you'd like to celebrate the day with - it could be a Mother, Aunt, Friend, Grandmother, Mentor, Care Giver etc. anyone who might have taught, nurtured, influenced or inspired you. We'll be whipping up insanely flavourful vegan burritos with a deeply spiced and fragrant Car-no Asada (normally made with actual steak, Carne Asada is a Mexican dish marinated in orange and lime juice and seasonings)... along with all the trimmings. The flavours are just sublime. So come and join us for an unforgettable cooking session, and afterwards you can sit together (virtually or in person) and reconnect over incredible food and special memories. INGREDIENTS 1 pack of extra large tortillas (the largest you can find) 1-2 large avocados 1 tin kidney beans in water 1 pack vegan beef strips or 500g chestnut mushrooms 1 large orange 3-4 limes 6 garlic cloves 50g long grain rice per person Cumin, Oregano, Garlic, Onion and Paprika 80ml olive oil 2 tsp chipotle paste Jarred jalapenos 2 tsp soy sauce or Henderson’s relish 40g fresh coriander 4 large tomatoes 1 medium red onion 1 medium white onion 1 tbsp tomato paste Salt, pepper EXTRAS: Lettuce - Cheddar cheese - Sour cream
